Testimonials
I found praying the rosary is something I really look forward too. It sets the tone for my whole week. It gives me hope and faith that my friends and the people here are praying with me and for me and my intentions. And to know that we are all saying the rosary together, is more powerful than anything else on earth I think. I am very grateful for this ministry of communal prayer. I had the opportunity to come every Monday during COVID and I think that’s what got me through that rough time. Every Monday we were here no matter what. We prayed the rosary for everyone’s intentions including our country and the world.

Four years ago, a friend called me one Monday night and asked me to come to Monday night rosary. I had never been to that rosary group before, but agreed to go. When I arrived, there were about 30-40 people there, many more than usual, and I knew them all. It turned out to be a rosary for ME and my upcoming open heart surgery. I was speechless; I had never been more touched and appreciative. I will never forget this show of love and support. I became a regular attendee after that night, and the surgery was a total success!

My name is Barbara, I have been a member of this Monday Rosary group for a very long time. My husband came from the very beginning at the request of Chris to pray for a friend, Jeff, who needed a new heart. He’s coming onto the 10th anniversary of that new heart. This was originally a men’s group that integrated and we are now coed. We got through COVID when it was difficult to meet up with anybody…we sat outside in blistering heat and icy cold weather, sometimes we had a room available and sometimes we didn’t. Through it all we have been a very faithful ministry of prayer. My husband and I continue to pray for our son, who a few years ago was diagnosed with Leukemia. We believe he got it as from chemical exposure as a firefighter. He had a rough couple of years. He is now 2 years in remission. We believe it was through prayer. We believe strongly in the power of prayer and so does this Rosary group too. Join us on Monday night!
